翠雨 Suiu

Suiu, is the Japanese term for the falling rain which moistens the vegetation, showing the moment while water drops and fall onto the leaf.

 

This piece is thrown on potters' wheel, it's inverted while leather hard in order to raise the detail of the neck. The inner form represents the dewdrop halt on the center of lotus pad.
